APPRECIATION

In 2000 Marjan took part in the writing of photo history in the Dutch project "Fotomonument 2000" about daily life
of Dutch inhabitants, in cooperation with Anjo Karstens. Their subject was city people with their bikes.
Out of 6000 photos, one of hers was chosen for the front cover of the book "Kijk ons" (Look at Us). |

In january 2014 one of my teachers in photography died: Joop Schaaps.
I owe him many thanks for his knowledge and encouragement.
And he was a mainstay in our efforts for ´World Citizens of Amsterdam`.
He is dearly missed. |
