In 2015 photographer Marjan Borsjes published the photo book "New Camouflage. Colours in street fashion".

The book is the result of a photo project in three European cities (Helsinki, Amsterdam and Antwerp 2012-2015)

Camouflage fashion has been fashionable for decennia, but "New Camouflage" is Marjan Borsjes' conception of street fashion which is dark, plain and inconspicious. People rather take the colours of their surroundings than show themselves explicitly in the street. Having documented 20 trends in street fashion the author pleads: "Please let us have more bright colours and more figures in our lifestyle, from a free, creative mind!"
